Today, we’re excited to announce a major upgrade that delivers exactly that. We’ve implemented low‑latency geo‑routing for all MintSolo mining pools, powered by Cloudflare’s global network.

This improvement means miners around the world now automatically connect to the closest, fastest MintSolo pool node—no more guessing which region to choose, no more manual switching, and no more unnecessary lag.

What This Is

Geo‑routing is a method of directing your mining traffic to the nearest available MintSolo server based on your physical location. Instead of every miner connecting to a single global endpoint, our system now uses Cloudflare’s worldwide infrastructure to detect where your request is coming from and route it to the closest MintSolo pool node.

In practical terms, this means:

• If you’re mining from North America, you’ll be routed to our US pool.
• If you’re in Europe, you’ll land on our EU pool.
• If you’re in Asia or Oceania, you’ll be connected to our Singapore pool.

This happens automatically, behind the scenes, without you needing to change anything about your miner configuration.

The result is lower latency, fewer rejected shares, and a more stable mining experience—no matter where you are.

In addition, this will allow us to introduce more regional pools in the future.

What It Means for You (the Miner)

Mining performance is heavily influenced by latency. The farther your miner is from the pool server, the longer it takes for shares to be submitted and validated. Even small delays can add up over time, especially during periods of high network difficulty.

With geo‑routing in place, your miner now connects to the closest MintSolo node by default. That means:

Getting started is as simple as updating your miner to use our new global pool endpoint: stratum.mintsolo.com

That’s it. No regional URLs, no special settings, no extra steps.

Your miner will automatically connect to the nearest MintSolo pool node using Cloudflare’s geo‑routing. If you prefer to use a specific region manually—for testing, benchmarking, or personal preference—you can still do so using our regional endpoints. But for most miners, the global address is now the best choice.
